Whether you have one car working or commuting within the congestion-charging
zone or you're a fleet operator running multiple vehicles within the zone, there is a substantial saving to be made not paying the congestion charge. (Saving £8 a day will amount to £2016 per annum).
A select number of vehicles cars and commercial are eligible for exemption once converted to LPG. These vehicles are listed on the Powershift list, which will detail the specific requirements of the vehicle regarding engine size, year, body type and transmission.
Once converted an application would need to be submitted to 'Transport for London' with the relevant documents and the fee of £10.00 to register the vehicle. Once exemption is confirmed you can move within the zone free of charge and of course there is much less daily administration to deal with.
